TWO Chippenham men have been disqualified from acting as company directors after their rail consultancy business failed with debts estimated at £61,000.
Trevor and Karl Stevenson, of Sutherland Crescent, were banned for four and five years respectively after the failure of Intercity Services EC Ltd, of Blackberry Close.
Fellow director Andrew Stevenson of Ashton Under Lyme, Lancashire, was also disqualified for three years.
The company was placed into compulsory liquidation by order of the Bath County Court in August 2001, on petition of HM Customs and Excise for £25,700 owed in respect of unpaid VAT.
The company has an estimated total deficiency of £50,134.
A disqualification order means not being a director of a company or taking part in the promotion, formation or management of a company during the ban.
