People are being invited to comment on the Wiltshire and Swindon Structure Plan 2016.
The document outlines what development can and can't take place in Wiltshire up until that date. Issues covered in the plan range from housing, transport, employment and the environment.
The framework will be used to inform more detailed local plans. Wiltshire County Council and Swindon Borough Council are holding a public consultation at the STEAM museum today from 10am.
Views must be submitted by June 9.
