PREMIER Division champions Percy's FC signed off in style with an 8-0 win over Box Rovers.

Keith Dawdrey's side, who became the first team from Corsham to lift the champions crown of the top flight, maintained their proud 100 per cent record against a Box side who started with only ninne men.

Box fell behind after 90 seconds when Dave Kilmurray scored after a patient build up involving five players.

Up to 10 men, Box battled their way back into the game and at one stage were all over Percy's who were starting to treat the game more like a pre-season friendly.

After Box's purple patch Percy's stole a second goal which owed a great deal to Steve Curtis whose excellent cross picked out Kilmurray to hammer home an angled shot with a clinical finish in the 22nd minute. Percy's other goals came from Luke Chapman, Frank Rogers (2), Chris Curry, Kilmurray annd Steve Curtis

Despite, Malmesbury Victoria's 6-0 loss away at Westbury Rangers A they are still in with a great chance of claiming the runners-up spot behind Percy's.

Malmesbury still have to play Winsley and on current form a win should be a formality. Their big game will come this Sunday in the winner-takes-all clash with Knockout Cup winners All Cannings A, whose home advantage may just give them the edge over the Vics.

Pack Horse were on course to pick up a share of the spoils from their game with Hullavington Village which would have been enough to secure them top flight football again next season, but fell to a late Darren Legg strike.

Craig Samuels' first half strike for Hullavington was cancelled out by Dan Pickford but with time running out Legg struck with a tremendous overhead kick to leave the Horse's Premier Division future hanging in the balance. Pack Horse have to play Winsley in their penultimate game of the season, with the winners looking a good bet to stay up.

Division One

WESTBRIDGE United gained sweet revenge over West End Wanderers whose hopes of taking a top two finish were dashed by United's 6-2 victory.

With West End out of the running the race for the title is very much alive and reaches its climax this Sunday with the top two in action. West Lavington, who have led the table for much of the season, face West End Wanderers. Terry's FC visit Maud Heath Sports not knowing their destiny but a lot will depend on the result of Terry's midweek match with West End, who can still have a huge say as to where the title will end up.

Division Two

NORTH Bradley put recent problems both on and off the pitch behind them, with Ali Belcher replacing Julian Hooper as manager.

Belcher took his side to Malford as Bradley's home pitch was unavailable and was rewarded with a point from a 1-1 draw. After the first 45 minutes drew a blank, Malford's Scott Evans was first to score with Leigh Trainer almost immediately equalising.

Any hope that Wingfield may have had of sneaking second place behind Semington Rovers ended with a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Spencer Sports.

Division Three

BLUE Circle Saints capped a remarkable season with two wins in four days that saw them secure the runners-up spot ahead of both Corsham Centre and Southwick Sports, who at one stage looked odds on to finish behind champions Holt FC.

The Saints eased to a 7-2 midweek win over Cooper-Avon, with Scott Woolford (3), Dean Wheeler (2), Ian Standing and Dan Dew, with his first of the season, scoring. Jason Roach and Craig Rees replied.

While the Saints were beating Cooper-Avon, the other teams in with a chance of second spot had a mixed night.

Southwick Sports lost 2-1 at home to a rejuvenated Corsham Park Rangers team. Kelvin Stewart, and Mark Wolf, with his 51st goal in his 100th game for the club, ended Southwick's interest despite Gareth Colebrook netting for the Sports to give them hope of a late fight back.

Unaware of Southwick's defeat and the Saints' win, Corsham thumped Rowde 10-0 to maintain their own hopes of getting their hands on a piece of silverware. Ashley Rich (3), John Horne (2), Scott Lye (2), Liam Ralph and Martin O'Shea, with his first of the season, were the Centre's scorers.

Blue Circle knew that a Sunday morning victory over Roadrunners would give them second spot and they duly obliged by beating the Trowbridge based team 7-3. Steve Martin (2), Dean Wheeler (2), Wayne Wheeler, Ian Standing and Barry Davis, who scored goal number seven from the penalty spot to became the Saints' 17th different scorer this campaign.

Pete Ralph's youngsters at Corsham Centre claimed a 6-2 win against Hare and Hounds, a result that was to count for nothing if only to lay the foundations for next season as Ralph looks to build a side that could well make the top flight in a few years' time. Luke Denham (3), John Horne, Matthew Lye and Liam Ralph were the scorers, with Lee Nott and Tim Wootton replying.

Corsham Park Rangers, who shocked Southwick Sports in midweek, followed that victory up with another surprise win with AFC Unicorn being on the wrong end of a 1-0 score line.

Rangers had the early advantage with the strong wind giving them an helping hand and they took the lead on 15 minutes through Rob Varley who powered the ball home following an excellent corner.

Unicorn had chances to find an equaliser before the interval but never really looked like taking any of them.

With the advantage of the wind in the second half it seemed as if Unicorn would find a way through Rangers' stubborn rearguard but when they did get a shot on target they found Rangers goalkeeper Martin Perrett in outstanding form, performing heroics to keep his team in the lead. Rangers had a few opportunities to kill the game off but at the final whistle they were indebted to man of the match Davis for keeping a clean sheet.

Division Four

WESTBURY Rangers B suffered a 1-0 defeat in their final game of the season.

The Division Four champions lost in midweek to Parsons Nose as Wayne Bailey's 24th goal of the season was enough to give the Melksham based side their third win on the trot.

Parsons Nose followed up with a 7-3 victory over KSM who became the first side to concede 100 goals this season. Wayne Bailey led the scoring with a hat-trick and Ricky Sullivan (2), Daniel Reeves and a penalty from goalkeeper Gareth Evans made up the seven. Andy Strange (2) and Stuart Button hit the net for KSM.

All Cannings B finished their first year in the league on a high as they made it four wins on the bounce with a 4-0 defeat of Bradstone Rovers.

After a goal-less first half Sam Patton connected with a Bobby Wadcock cross to put Cannings ahead in the 70th minute. Two minutes later Paul Cooper's corner was flicked on by Tim Chilton with Wadcock on hand to find the net and put Cannings two up. Paul Cooper fired home from six yards on 80 minutes to extend the villagers' lead further. Cannings' man of the match Wadcock completed his side's quartet with a spectacular solo effort.
