UPAVON army major Charles Ingram returned to court in Salisbury on Friday.
Major Ingram (39) appeared at Salisbury Crown Court to face two charges of trying to deceive insurance companies.
He had appeared before the court in October last year, when he had pleaded 'not guilty' to the two charges:
that between June 8, 1997, and August 1, 1997, he dishonestly obtained a pecuniary advantage, namely that he was allowed to take out a policy of insurance with Zurich Municipal by deception, by falsely representing that he had made only one insurance claim in the preceding three years and had never had special terms imposed;
a similar charge in respect of Direct Line, between July 12, 2001, and July 22, 2001.
That case was ad-journed and on Friday Major Ingram spoke only to confirm his name.
He was remanded on unconditional bail until June 5, when he is due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.
Ingram's wife, Diana (39) sat in the courtroom during the 40-minute hearing.
