TWO petrol station workers have been cleared of indecently assaulting a teenage boy in their Melksham flat.
A jury at Swindon Crown Court found Paul Shaw and David Matthews not guilty of the gay sex attack on Friday after a three-day trial.
The pair, who both work at the 24-hour Total petrol station in Semington Road, were accused of assaulting an 18-year-old man in their King Street flat on October 23, after meeting up with him in the Melksham Liberal Club during the evening.
It was alleged the teenager ran home across Melksham half-naked to escape the two men.
Shaw, 33, and Matthews, 40, both denied the allegation.
Case officer PC Keith Harford said the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and his family were upset at the verdict.
He said: "I think it was a fair trial and the jury came to their decision using the evidence available.
"The teenager and his family were disappointed but they accepted this is they system we have to work to.
"There was no forensic evidence to strengthen our case."
