ON March 21 I wrote a letter to the Wiltshire times about building a new hospital for Trowbridge the same size as Bath RUH.

I asked the public to write to the Wiltshire Times as the more letters that come in keeps this subject alive. I was very disappointed that not one person wrote a letter to the paper in favour of a new hospital which we need so badly.

I have been through the NHS system and seen at first hand how overworked these people are in Bath. This town has lost so much over the years, to name a few Ushers, bus station, St John Hospital. Here we have the chance to put something very important back into our town for all the people to use and be proud of.

All I ask of the people of Trowbridge is write your letters to the Wiltshire Times in favour of a new hospital.

Maybe the Wiltshire Times could start an appeal to get people to donate money towards a new hospital or the Lottery could help and of course the money should come from our council taxes.

We pay so much in taxes in this country, give the people of Trowbridge some of it back so that we can build this new hospital.

This would help so many people and the ambulance crews would not have to travel to Bath all the time. In the end I think the NHS would save money. As people use this new hospital they will want to give something back to the hospital this could be done by giving donations to the wards that look after them.

These are my ideas, let's hear yours on this subject.

R D FELTHAM,

Trowbridge.
