ALAN Blencowe races at Brands Hatch this Bank Holiday weekend (Sunday and Monday), hoping to make up the ground on his Barwell Motorsport team-mate Luke Hines who leads the BTCC championship.
Blencowe told Journal Sport: "I suffered with a gearbox problem at Brands Hatch last time, and ended up finishing fourth and fifth. I'll be looking to go well in qualifying to push up on the grid and have a better chance of getting that first win at the circuit.
"We are about 100 points ahead in the Constructors' Championship so hopefully that can be maintained whilst I catch up with Luke at the same time."
