CARNIVAL costumes and how to make them will be the subject of two free morning workshops being organised by the Marlborough Carnival Committee.
The cost of the workshops is being met by a £5,999 grant from the National Lotteries' Awards for All.
The drop-in sessions are being held on the two Saturday mornings prior to the carnival on September 14.
Carnival secretary Angie Dickens said: "We are still looking for more groups or individuals to join in to make costumes."
Anyone interested in taking part should contact Carrie Clarkson-Cowles on (01672) 515960.
The carnival committee has chosen its carnival princess and butterfly princess by means of a draw.
The princess is Laura Ash and the butterfly princess is Jessica Mallison.
