COLESHILL is holding a village open day on Monday, September 7. Attractions will include stalls, demonstrations, farmyard animals, guided walks and a hog-roast.

Coleshill and its neighbouring estate, Buscot, are run by the National Trust.

Visitors can view the wealth of local arts and crafts produced on the estate.

A gallery exhibiting work by Coleshill and Buscot artists will be open to exhibit their work. There will also be guided walks, including around the Model Farm site, the village water mill and the River Cole, and displays of Victorian farmyard machinery and artefacts.

Coleshill is between Faringdon and Highworth on the B4019. The event is from 11am to 5pm.

Children can make and take home a birdbox, meet pigs and chickens and enjoy a tractor and trailer ride around the parkland.
