BUDDING film stars took part in a drama workshop to brighten up their summer holidays.
Around 40 children, aged between five and 11, gathered at Colebrook Community Centre, in Towcester Road, to take part in the dramatic fun.
Jamelia Castle, six, from Covingham, enjoyed the experience.
She said: "We had great fun and I made lots of friends."
Besides playing games like animal games, traffic lights and pirates, the youngsters made storyboards of their favourite film.
James Carter, seven, from Old Walcot, said: "It's been a really good day.
"One of my favourite films is Spiderman and the storyboards we made were brilliant," he said.
The workshops, run in separate sessions for five to eight-year-olds and nine to 11-year-olds, were taken by workers at Cineworld in Greenbridge.
Dan Donachy, 20, workshop organiser, said: "The children had a really good time.
"All the activities have been social and creative, so it's a productive way to enjoy the summer holidays," Mr Donach said.
