A former Swindon shop manager is aiming to take the showbiz world by storm.

Georgina Knapp, 23, from Bushton, near Wootton Bassett, is hoping to cause a stir when she attends the premiere of Bad Boys II, at Leicester Square, next Saturday.

But to get herself on the front pages she needs the help of a Swindon designer.

Georgina, who raked in thousands of votes to win a Blind Date special earlier this year, said: "I went to the premiere of the recent Terminator film and had a documentary TV crew following me round for two days.

"The programme will be shown on Sky TV before the end of the year. It was great fun. We had a free chauffeur driven car and stayed in a top hotel.

"I've now been invited to the Bad Boys premiere on September 30," she said.

"I need a show-stopping outfit and thought it would be a great opportunity for a Swindon designer to get noticed too," she added.

Georgina, who is 5ft 6ins and a size eight to 10, said she would be grateful for anything that would get her noticed.

She is pursuing a career in the commercial dance scene, and admires Melinda Messenger but doesn't think she will opt for the topless route to stardom.

"Melinda has worked hard and it's paid off," said the former Wootton Bassett School student.

"She's done really well for herself and obviously has a brain. She's not seen as a blonde bimbo," Georgina added.
