SWINDON Supermarine return to the scene of their lowest ebb when they travel to Sutton Coldfield tomorrow.

The South Marston side were crushed by a record 9-0 in the corresponding fixture last November, but manager Ray Baverstock is confident a repeat is not in the offing.

"We've come a long way since then," he said.

"We want to prove that on Saturday, but to be fair, Sutton Coldfield have come a long way too this season and are riding high in the league so it will be a difficult game."

The midlanders are usually viewed as one of the minnows of the Western Division, but five wins from five games sees them topping the early standings, and while Marine are highly unlikely to suffer the same humiliation they did on their last trip to the Central Ground, they will have to be at their best to pick up a result.

Much will depend on how they respond following their FA Cup exit at the hands of arch rivals Cirencester last weekend.

"We sat down in the week and had a chat about the Ciren game," said Baverstock.

"We've shown we are a good side this season, now we have to show we have the bottle to bounce back."

Jimmy Carter and Shaun Terry return to the Marine squad after two-week breaks, leaving suspended Dave Slattery as the only absentee.

CIRENCESTER Town make the tricky trip to Solihull Borrough without the services of rejuvenated striker Jody Bevan.

The former Weston-super-Mare hitman found his scoring touch with two goals in the FA Cup win over Supermarine last Saturday, but misses tomorrow's game due to personal reasons.

Scott Griffin should take Bevan's place after spending the last couple of weeks on the bench, though Ben Fitch may be deployed as Gareth Hopkins' strike partner after a spell on the right wing.

Kevin Lee, Darren Robison and Tony Hopkins remain sidelined through injury, but Keith O'Halloran returns after a trial with Darlington.

Ciren boss Brian Hughes hopes that last week's derby win provides a timely confidence boost to a side that have had their only points rescinded after Atherstone's demise.

He said: "It's been one of those seasons so far where we've been continuously kicked in the teeth.

"Hopefully that win against Supermarine has done us the power of good and we can start picking up points."
