IN my letter "These humps have to stay where they are" (Sep 16), I refer to a petition in the hairdressers in Nythe.
I should like to assure readers that the elderly lady was not encouraged to sign the petition by any member of staff, and I regret any misunderstanding over this.
The hairdressers in Nythe have always been willing to support local groups.
