A heart defibrillator is to be presented to Thamesdown Hydrotherapy Pool in Swindon on Thursday.
The machine, which costs in the region of £2,000, was paid for jointly by the Friends of the pool and by the local branch of the British Heart Foundation.
Pool manager Paul Charl-wood said: "Hopefully it will never need to be used, but it must give people tremendous peace of mind that it is there and available."
