SO far £645,000 has been shelled out on the VIsion for Trowbridge project.
It will be money well spent if we can revolutionise the centre of what is, at the moment, loosely posing as Wiltshire's county town. It will not be money well spent if taxpayers are faced with a £15m bill to get things under way.
The whole point of the project is to bring local authorities and businesses together, working towards an ultimate aim. The last thing we want is for the centre of Trowbridge to deteriorate further over the next 10 to 15 years. There is a chance for change. We must not waste it.
