THE case of the Ukrainian girl (EA, Nov 8) who may be deported is typical of this government.
They let thousands of illegal immigrants stay in this country costing millions in benefits. Yet they want to deport a young student who is adopted by an English family and won't be a burden on the state.
The same Home Secretary is scared witless to deport the hook handed cleric who spouts his anti-British venom on the streets of London.
I have written several letters to the Home Office and all I get is a reply months later from some pen pusher, that the Home Secretary has taken note of my views.
It would be better to write to the shadow Home Secretary to bring it up in Parliament.
