A NEW careline aims to help the elderly and their carers.
It is run by Swindon Coun-cil's social services and has an information team available on 01793 466644 and can give out information about getting care and support and how to go about getting more help.
The line will be open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursdays and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Fridays. There will be a message service set up for out-of-hours emergencies.
There will also be an e-mail and fax service and a minicom service for those with hearing difficulties.
