A COOL thief broke into a kebab takeaway shop in Pewsey Market Place through an extractor fan grille.
The thief stole a cash float from the till at London House and forced a fruit machine to get at the takings.
More than £100 in total was taken.
The thief made his escape by going through the ventilator grille once more.
Police said the break-in occurred between 1am last Friday and the opening of the takeaway at 11am on Saturday March 20.
People who saw anyone suspicious near the takeaway should contact Pewsey police on (01672) 562222.
