Window dresser Yvonne Heath has celebrated 25 years with Wiltshire-based opticians Haine and Smith but has decided to retire.
Mrs Heath, who joined the partnership as a receptionist at the Calne practice in 1979, was presented with a celebration gift and flowers from senior partner Barry Smith and general manager Gary Walters.
Mrs Heath, who was voted top receptionist in the staff awards and in 1986 became a finalist in a national contest to find the UK's eyecare receptionist of the year, went on to manage the firm's window displays.
Haine and Smith, which was established in 1975, has three members of staff who have been with the partnership for more than 20 years.
In making the presentation to Mrs Heath, Mr Smith said she had been a tremendous asset to the partnership but unfortunately had decided to retire to spend more time with her family.
