CASH set aside for entrepreneurs and companies seeking investment in the south west has been given new direction this week.
The South West Angels Investment Network helps encourage investment as part of the £1.5m South West Regional Development Agency access to finance initiative.
This week Philip Tellwright was appointed network director after 20 years experience as a professional investor, finance investor and director.
He said: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to develop and implement this important new service in the south west."
