SOME good news for the ratepayers of Marlborough, the Town Play, Wheels of Time, to be performed during the Charter Week celebrations in June, will cost the ratepayers not a penny.
This is entirely due to donations and sponsorship by local businesses and citizens who have given generously to support this venture being put on by citizens of the town.
And in turn, praise is due to our town stalwarts who went round shops, offices and individuals with the begging bowl.
We now need non-speaking extras for the crowd scenes. Are you interested?
You will be most welcome at the town hall for the first rehearsal at 2.30pm this Sunday, March 28.
