CHIPPENHAM took a squad along to the Wiltshire County Under 11s Rugby Festival at Bradford on Avon on Sunday and enjoyed a successful tournament.
They won three and drew one of their opening pool games.
These results put them into the semi-finals of the festival which saw them win this match with ease.
In the final Chippenham met Salisbury. Salisbury were one of the teams that Chippenham had beaten earlier 10-0 in the pool games and so the team's confidence was running high.
But this time Salisbury fought hard and both teams made some a few darting runs during the match.
The match finished all square on count back, but Salisbury emerged as the winners and were awarded the trophy.
