Nalgo remain unbeaten in Division One of the Swindon Evening Cricket League after an emphatic seven-wicket victory over Southwest Fasteners.

Southwest batted first and made 107 for 6, with Curtis top-scoring with 40.

It was Zaeed's hat-trick that kept the score to a reachable target and in reply Rafiq made 53 before retiring hurt as Nalgo cruised to 108 for 3.

There was another thrilling encounter at the County Ground between Nationwide 1st and Comptons, where Nationwide posted 169 for 6, captain Mark Vincent hitting 62 and Paul Sherwood not out on 37. In reply, Comptons posted 170 for 8 to secure a two-wicket victory with three balls to spare.

Swindon Mortgages gained their second victory with an 18-run success over Lydiard Millicent as Kev Flay hit 38 in the Mortgages total of 115 for 8.

Tight bowling by Chris Trewhella, 2 for 28 and Samsum, 3 for 22 saw Lydiard bowled out for 97.

Nomads continued their unbeaten run in Division Two as they hit 140 for 5 in a comfortable win over Wanborough who could only make 112 for 6.

Wroughton Wranglers kept up the chase as they kept the Talismen score down to 78, Mark McMeeking only conceding five runs in five overs. John Easter made 28 not out as Wroughton cruised past their target.

It's all very tight at the top of Division Three, with unbeaten Motorola and Swindon Litten Tree setting the pace.

Motorola were all out for 86 in their fixture but bowled out Sevenfields for 80 as Faheem Khan took 3 for 23.

Purton must wait at least another week for their first victory as they complied 135 for 7.

In reply Mark Brown made an unbeaten 45 as Swindon Litten Tree cruised to 138 for 5 with six balls to spare.

The Litten Tree also played a rearranged fixture, bowling out Ashbury for 87 with Bob Mercer 4 for 12. The Tree passed 90 without loss.

There was a thrilling home win for Nationwide 3rd in Division Four as they scrambled to 110 for 6 with two balls left in chasing down the Anchor score of 109 for 5.

Sutton scored 33 not out for the visitors before Ozzy John Reivers hit four towering sixes in his 60 that set the scene for a dramatic end when veteran Bill Boyd hit the winning runs.
