Lechlade elected to bowl and on a lively wicket, Matt Southall, Lechlade's new overseas left arm fast bowler, zoomed in and got the ball to lift.
Lambert took an early wicket and he soon took a superb catch on the third-man boundary.
Though runs were hard to come by, no further wickets fell until Pearce did some blinding fielding to create an important run out.
In their allotted overs Beanacre scored a dogged 157-8.
After tea, skipper Rowley opened the batting for Lechlade and kept his run-making form going until losing his wicket for 19.
Pettifer, Lechlade's other opening bat, kept up the run chase with a steady knock of 33. Hussan and Southall then saw Lechlade to the required total of 158.
