NEXT week, the cream of student fashion takes to the catwalks for Graduate Fashion Week.

Showcasing work from the UK's leading design colleges, including Salisbury College, this year's event takes place from June 7-10 at the Battersea Park Arena in London.

The week includes catwalk shows and exhibitions of the most innovative new fashion designers, illustrators, marketeers, writers, textiles and graphic designers.

With increasing numbers of British trained graduates making the grade at international level, Graduate Fashion Week has become the place to spot the talent of the future.

Top designers Betty Jackson and Zandra Rhodes are among this year's judges and presenters for the week's awards, which get a gala presentation on June 10 at 7.30pm.

Earlier that day, it's high noon for Salisbury's BA students as they get to show off their style on the catwalk at midday.

Admission to individual college shows and the exhibition is £10 + £2 booking fee, admission to the gala show and awards costs £25 + £2.

Ticket hotlines are 0870 429 5320 (gala show) and 01903 885748 (college shows).

Students from all of the fashion design courses at Salisbury College are showing their work at a special showcase staged at The Workx in Parsons Green, London, this evening at 6pm.
