THE postal service to my house has been first class for years.
This is the service I had last week:
On Friday I wrote to Birmingham asking for a copy of my mother's birth certificate.
On Tuesday I received an answer at 8.30am saying I needed to contact Wolverhampton Register Office.
The same day I wrote to Wolverhampton Register Office.
On Wednesday I received a telephone call from Wolverhampton and the certificate arrived on Thursday.
I sent a copy to to my sister on Thursday and she received it on Friday.
Except for the letter from Wolverhampton all were posted under second class stamps.
