ALL-STAR wrestlers will be descending on Melksham this month after the last event in the town was a sellout.

The Dangerous Ground 2004 event, organised by the Combat Sports Federation, will feature six contests, including a huge double main event.

In the first The Guv'nor Carl Conroy will face Stevie Knight and in the second local grappler Stuart 'Eliminator' Natt will be defending his All Nations Heavyweight title against Sabotage.

Mr Natt said: "This is going to be the toughest fight since I captured the title, after several defences in Scotland and Bristol I now have to face the number one contender to the belt, Sabotage.

"I was very proud to have won the title in front of my friends and family in February in Melksham, although I came close to losing the title in April but managed to hang onto it."

Other wrestlers appearing at the event, which is sponsored by ANS Tools of Bowerhill, will include light heavyweight champion Aaron Fusion, Gideon, Jake Jeckle, Chris Diamond, Deano Lynski, Odyssey, Andy Noble, Alex Steele, 'Thee' Drew Galloway, Jamie Impact, Stu Pendous and Justin Richards.

Doors open at the Assembly Hall at 5pm, with the action due to start at 5.45pm.

Tickets cost £6 and are available on the door, or in advance from the Assembly Hall on (01225) 709887 or DJ Sports, Bank Street, Melksham.

Ticket holders also get free entry to the after-show event being held at The Tavern in the Market Place.
