FUNDRAISERS can get on their bikes for sponsored cycle rides through the grounds of Longleat.

Dorothy House has organised three sponsored rides on Sunday June 13 to coincide with National Bike Week.

All the money raised will go towards health care at Dorothy House and cyclists of all ages are able to take part.

Dorothy House fundraiser Matthew Carter said: "We hope to have between 200 and 300 cyclists, which could make this one of the years' biggest fundraising days.

"The shorter rides through the Longleat grounds alongside some of the animal enclosures are relatively easy.

"The longer 46-mile ride is a little bit more difficult with some rather tricky hills. So the event welcomes all members of the

family and cyclists of all

abilities."

A seven-mile sponsored bike ride is open to riders of all ages while a 16-mile route is only for cyclists over 10.

The 46-mile route takes cyclists out to Salisbury Plain and organisers have said it should only be tackled by fit experienced riders aged over 14.
