THE Trowbridge and District League are holding their annual meeting at the Wesley Road Club, Wesley Road, Trowbridge, at 7pm on Friday June 11.
Last night (Thursday) the league management were meeting to discuss the composition of the divisions for next season. So far, seven new teams have officially applied for membership, Bradford Town Reserves, Calne Eagles, CS Filos, FC Chippenham, FC Trowbridge Wanderers, Rudloe Reserves and St Andrews. Three existing teams have applied to the county FA to change their name, Dursley Arms to The Lamb, Dilton Marsh to Seymour Athletic and Lavington and Easterton to Lavington.
The Deverills Reserves and Bromham Reserves have resigned. The management committee are considering a request from The Deverills for their first team, which has currently been made up by reserve team players, to ply their trade in Division Two next season.
Division One Castle Combe have applied to join the Wiltshire League.
