AN artist who has a studio in a South African township is showing his work in Bradford on Avon this week.
Shepherd Xego's linocuts will be on display at the town's library until tomorrow.
Community librarian Penny England said: "This exhibition brings Shepherd's expressive and observant linocuts to a wider audience."
Mr Xego developed his talents through a community arts project in Cape Town and his work has been exhibited at galleries in South Africa and The Netherlands.
His linocuts reflect the life he sees around him in the impoverished township of Ramaphosa Village in Port Elizabeth.
