POPULAR local musicians are being lined up to provide entertainment and raise money at a summer fair to be held in Bradford on Avon.

St Augustine's Catholic College's young musician of the year, pianist Dominic Irving, is among those who will be entertaining the crowds at the Friends of the Wiltshire Music Centre's summer fair on June 26.

Joining Dominic will be members of the a cappella choir, Singing in the Round, along with Jazz Factory and Bradford Baroque Band.

There will also be stalls selling cakes, produce, plants, books, CDs and videos, toys and games as well as refreshments and a tombola.

Anthony Crossland, chairman of the Friends of Wiltshire Music Centre, said: "The fair is going to be great fun for all the family. We have a wide range of attractions for all ages and we are grateful to all the Friends for their help in organising the event.

"We are delighted to be raising money for the Wiltshire Music Centre as the concerts and

education work of the centre make such a contribution to communities in Wiltshire and the region."

Proceeds from the fair will go towards installing new removable seating in the auditorium to enable more wheelchair users to attend performances.

Entrance to the fair, which runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm on June 26, is free for children and 50p for adults.
