A 26-year-old Bradford on Avon man has walked free from court after a sex charge against him was dropped.
Alexis Powell had been charged with indecently assaulting a 14-year-old girl on October 16 last year.
But after he pleaded not guilty to the matter at Swindon Crown Court the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence.
Colin Meeke, prosecuting, told the hearing: "The complainant has expressed to the police a desire not to proceed with the matter. Having considered it carefully the Crown has decided not to proceed."
That means that Powell, of Poulton, Bradford-on-Avon, has been found not guilty of the matter.
