IN 2001 a decision was taken to produce a design statement for the village of Hilperton.
Since then a group of local people have prepared a consultative draft document based on a considered understanding of Hilperton's past, as it is today and makes recommendations for the future.
However, before final publication copies of the draft document are available for public viewing at the post office in Marsh Road and Church Street, the village hall and Paxcroft Community Centre, together with a booklet in which comments can be recorded.
Members of the steering group will be present at the village fete on June 12 to receive any further observations residents may wish to make.
