Ref. 30733-13SWINDON artists have opened their doors to the public again for the rest of the month.
The Open Studios event aims to give people a taste of what artists in Swindon get up to during the rest of the year.
This year 53 artists are taking part, and venues include the Cre8 studios in the Town Hall, the Old Railway Museum in Faringdon Road, and ArtSite at Penhill Youth and Community centre.
The open studios, which take place every weekend in June, start on Saturday and run until June 27.
Barbara Dixon, Visual Arts Officer at Artscape, said: "These Open Studios are a great event, providing people with a magnificent opportunity to have a look at some great artwork created by local artists and also provides people with the opportunity to try their hand at creating art."
Local artists and photographers Kirsten Hughes, Tony Leggett and Pauline Pratt will also be showcasing their work at the Cre8 studio on 19 June.
