THE Smash youth project will hold its first annual meeting later this month.
The project the name of which stands for Swindon Mentoring and Self Help will hold the meeting at its offices in Stratton.
The exact address will only be revealed to people who want to attend.
Project manager Rebecca Rice said: "Invitations will be sent to project members and stakeholders.
"However, anyone who has an interest in the project and would like to attend can contact us on 01793 829513.
"We are keen to recruit new volunteers over 18, and we offer training to become a mentor to a vulnerable young person."
Smash helps vulnerable youngsters and makes sure they stay on the straight and narrow, with the help of a mentor.
Several youngsters in Swindon have said it kept them away from a life of crime.
Last month Smash went to Swindon Council to ask for help with funding. Money awarded by the European Social Fund will soon run out and is not likely to be renewed, so it is hoped the council may be able to step in.
