SWINDON CANCER APPEAL: Journalists from all media will gather in Old Town to celebrate their art at the Wiltshire Media Awards on Thursday, June 17.
The dinner and dance at the Marriott Hotel, will also raise cash for the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
After the awards a raffle will be held. Prizes include a night's stay in the Hilton Hotel, sessions at JJB Fitness, £200 to spend at the Outlet Village and a range of meals around Swindon's top eateries.
The evening has been organised by the Swindon branch of the National Union Of Journalists.
Proceeds from the evening will go to the Swindon Cancer Appeal which aims to raise £600,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief and appeal manager Graziella Campisano will attend the evening. Already £375,000 has been raised.
The cash will pay for two specialist Macmillan nurses and a consultant in palliative care in Swindon and Marlborough.
