CHILDREN are invited to use their creative skills to help people battle dementia.

Kingshill Research Centre has teamed up with Shire Pharmaceu-ticals to produce a competition to mark Alzheimer's Awareness Week, which runs from July 4 to 10.

Children aged four to 16 years are being asked to produce a poster, which sums up the week.

There will be three age groups, four to six years, seven to 10 years and 11 to 16 years.

Prizes have been donated by Toy Zone.

Running alongside the competition, will be an information stall in the Food Court at the Great Western Designer Outlet Village.

Trained representatives will be on hand to issue advice from 10.30am to 4pm on July 7.

Entries for the competition should be no larger than A4. The entrant's name, age and address should be written clearly on the reverse.

Entries should be sent to: Kingshill Research Centre, Victoria Hospital, Okus Road, Swindon, SN1 4HZ.
