CORSHAM manager Colin Bush was furious his side did not even obtain a point away at Torrington on Saturday .

The Screwfix Premier new boys had all the chances to get a point or even go on to win the match, but were beaten by a goal in injury time.

The winning goal came with the last kick of the game by Torrington's Robbie Bowker.

Bush said: "I'm very disappointed that we did not take at least a point from this game.

"Especially as we had so much of the ball."

Corsham started the game well and had a host of squandered chances. They took the lead in the 15th minutes through Steve Roddy.

He crashed in a left-footed drive from outside the box that pinged off the inside of the post before rattling into the back of the net.

Corsham let the home side back into the game when Torrington penetrated the back line and got a good cross in for Jay Morgan to tap in with their first shot of the game.

Bush was not happy at half-time and things got worse. Corsham started brightly and were having the better of the half, until Bowker hit a 25-yard effort with his left foot from out of the blue into the roof of the Corsham net.

But Corsham hit back when Alan Griffin's low shot flew in of the post. Bush said: "Their second goal seemed to inspire us and we played much better."

Corsham went agonisingly close to taking all three points when they Griffin's header hit the post three minutes from time.

Corsham's hearts were broken on the stroke of full time when manager's son Bowker got his second of the match with another 25-yard left footer.

Bush said: "We have learnt from this game and will take the positives out of it. In the first half I thought we were excellent and then let them back in.

"But we still need to win three points.

We threw this game away. We did deserve a draw and came home with nothing."
