A CAR once derided by Jeremy Clarkson has had the last laugh after being proclaimed Used Car of the Year.
The presenter of the BBC Top Gear programme said of the Vauxhall Vectra: "I have to fill seven minutes with a car that doesn't merit seven seconds."
But the judges of the What Car? competition heaped praise on the car.
