NORTH WILTS JUNIOR LEAGUE: U17 - Shaw scored five times in each half to retain leadership of the division with Stratton Juniors B. Finding the net for Shaw were Adam Legg (4), Dan Hiscocks (3) Bruno Pileggi (2) and an own goal.

A hat-trick from Rory Sproule, two from Michael Scarff, plus one apiece for Scott Rivers, Tom Underwood and Steven Nicholls, saw Stratton Juniors B to an 8-1 home win against Swindon Badgers.

Westbrook stay in touch after a 7-1 home win over Blunsdon Colts, Westbrook's goals coming courtesy of Junior Small (4), Jonathan Lee, Robin Littlewood and Daniel Barnes.

They were joined on nine points by Ferndale Rodbourne who won their third game in a row, a 5-2 home success over Sherbourne Harriers.

Stratton Juniors A and Wootton Bassett Town A shared seven goals, Stratton eventually edging it 4-3. On target for the Swindon side were Jamie Black, Ryan Wootten, Louis Cunningham and Aaron Lockyear.

Wootton Bassett Town B pulled off their first win of this campaign, 2-1 against Brunel.

The deadlock was broken on the half hour by an opportunist strike from 30 yards by captain Jason Hudson.

Shortly after, a through ball by Tom Walkley put Mike Yates in on the left of the area and he despatched the ball past the oncoming Brunel keeper.

In the second half, with the wind behind them, Brunel threw everything forward and were rewarded with an own goal.

U 15 Division One

Westbrook march on at the top of the table, their latest win a 3-1 home success over previously undefeated Stratton Juniors. Josh Digby with two and Matt Hobbs were the Westbrook goalscorers.

Wroughton went clear in second place after a 6-0 win at Eastville, in what was a hastily arranged fixture after Malmesbury had called off their match with Eastville.

Wroughton stepped in to ensure a game took place and were rewarded with all three points. Wroughton took 20 minutes to score their first goal through Carl Leppard then made if 2-0 at half time through James Cox.

An unstoppable volley from Sean Bailey made it 3-0. Cox added a fourth and Carl Leppard's magnificent strike from the edge of the box made it five. Adam Burson, who missed several early chances, scored the sixth.

Ferndale Rodbourne went ahead through Jake Page in their game against Fairford, and added a second through Bobby Amos.

Within five minutes, Fairford hit back with a great individual effort from Jack Gannon, and Matty Brunt then headed the equaliser.

The second half saw both teams looking for the winner. With 20 minutes left Fairford's midfield played a through ball to Brunt who calmly placed the ball over the Ferndale keeper and into the net to make it 3-2, and secure Fairford's first win of the season.

U 15 Division two

WITH half the team late and turning up five minutes before kick off, it was no surprise Wroughton had an abysmal start to their game at Walcot.

They were 3-0 down in 11 minutes to a hat-trick from Ziggi Wardale. Fifteen minutes into the second half they pulled one back through Oli Matthews, and scored another 15 minutes later when Tom Curwood jabbed home a great cross from Eliott Hill, making it 3 -2.

The last 10 minutes were lively, withWroughton failing to convert their chances to equalise. This win lifted Walcot level on points with Eldene Colts at the top of the table.

Blunsdon stay third after a 10-0 win over bottom club Liden Community. Nathan Curtis (4), Chris Broley (2), Levi Cox (2), Tom Curley and Liam Keville were the Blunsdon scorers.

Shaw moved into fourth spot after a 2-1 home success over Lydiard Youth, Matt Povey and James Baker scoring. They are joined by Kingsdown United, 7-0 winners at Ramsbury.

U14

There was a top of the table clash at Supermarine between Westlea Wanderers and Eastville Boys.

In a dress rehearsal for the forthcoming cup tie between the two most successful sides last season, it was Eastville who edged it 2-1 to go six points clear at the top. Both Eastville goals were scored by Steven Keir.

Third place Shaw came unstuck at home against Croft Juniors. In a close game it was Croft that took the points with a 3-1 victory.

Croft's all-important goals came through Charlie Rowe, James McMurray and Imman Bains. Shaw's scorer was Daryl Charman.

There was joy at last for Shrivenham and Watchfield as they won their first game of the season to move off the bottom of the table.

Their goalscorers in the 3-2 win over Wootton Bassett Town were Oliver Bailey (2) and Mark Houlton. Bassett's goals came from Ben Curtis and James Terry.

Ferndale Rodbourne were 16-0 winners over struggling Penhill Allstars. Scorers were Ashley Taylor (5), Richard Sheppard (2), Joesph Rees (2), Mark Gallagher (2), Lee Gratton (2), Steven Smart, Karl Dumper, James Murray and Daniel Mead.

Brunel Boys moved above Highworth Juniors A in the table after defeating them 7-1 on their own patch.

U 12 Division One

Ferndale Rodbourne A went clear at the top of the table after a 7-0 win over their fellow stable mates, Ferndale Rodbourne B. Stephen Hill led the way with a hat-trick, Josh Parsons hit two and there was one each for Kyle Rigley and Matthew Beauchamp.

Greenmeadow lost ground as they went down by the odd goal in seven at home against Wroughton, Oliver Armstrong (2), Charlie Rabbitts and Scott Currie scoring for Wroughton.

Highworth Juniors A also dropped further behind, going down 3-1 at Wootton Bassett Town, for whom Vince Tapster scored twice and Alec Daley once. Timothy Berry scored the solitary Highworth goal.

Stratton Juniors B remain in touch after a 4-1 away win at Cricklade Youth, for whom Christopher Dye scored.

Brunel Boys went equal second after a 2-0 home success over Stratton Juniors A. Michael Malekides and Craig Beckerlegg were on target for Brunel.

U 12 Division Two

Lydiard Youth and Liden continue to lead the way, both scoring seven times on Sunday.

Liden hit their seven without reply against Cricklade Youth B. Among the Liden goals were Sam Slater (2), Tyler Lane (2), Daniel Billing, Lawrence Smith and Lewis Gibbs.

On target for Lydiard in their 7-1 win at Swindon Badgers were Daniel Stretton (2), Matthew Cole, Sam Richardson, Sam Golding, Anthony Alcock and an own goal. Chris Ackrill scored for Badgers.

Marlborough won their first game of the season, defeating Castle Combe Colts 6-3 on their own patch.

Shrivenham and Watchfield returned to winning ways with a 4-1 success at Old Town. Jahnal Saxby scoring the Old Town goal.

It was a tight affair at Purton where goals from Daniel Black and Nathan Fowler saw AFC Swindon edge it, with Louis Elton scoring for Purton.

U 11 West

GREENMEADOW B won 1-0 against previously undefeated Uffington. Greenmeadow dominated the game and were unlucky not to add further goals to Will Brittan's first-half effort.

Fairford won their first game of the season, defeating Shrivenham and Watchfield 5-1. Taylor Chambers was the star of the show with a hat-trick, Ollie Sweeting and James Gale adding a goal apiece.

U 10 North

WOOTTON Bassett Town maintained top spot with an excellent 10-1 win over Ashton Keynes, the team they met in last season's cup final.

On target for Bassett were Tom O'Donnell (5), Jack Brain (2), Nick Buckle (2) and a rare Ellis Embling strike. Danny Roberts scored for Ashton Keynes.

Siddington and Greenmeadow A remain just behind, Siddington after a 2-0 win at Highworth Town A and Greenmeadow after a 5-1 win at Westbrook A. Siddington's goals came courtesy of Tim Bond and Matthew Fletcher.

Greenmeadow bounced back from last week's away defeat with a convincing away victory over a strong Westbrook team. Greenmeadow were 3-0 up at half-time with goals from Jack Townsend (2) and Carl Lewington.

In the second half Carl Merchant got the goal of the game, but Westbrook never dropped their heads and were finally rewarded with a cracking goal from outside the area from Christopher Middlecoate.

Greenmeadow maintained a firm grip on the game and Merchant finished it off with his second, and the team's fifth, 10 minutes before the end.

Ferndale Rodbourne remain fourth after a 5-3 win over Stratton Juniors for whom Ben Nash (2) and Callum Little scored.

Swindon Soccer Skills secured their first points of the season, winning 2-0 at Blunsdon Colts.

U 10 South

LIDEN Community march on at the top of the table with their fourth win in as many games.

Timothy Ogu netted twice and Joshua Huntly added a third in their 3-1 win at Highworth Town B.

Westbrook B leapt above Coleshill Juniors into second place in the table after defeating them 2-1.

There was another tight affair between Marlborough Town and Croft Juniors B, Croft winning by the odd goal in five. Josh Fowler (2) and Harry Hatfield were on target for Croft, Byron Wigglesworth with two for Marlborough.

Highworth Juniors join Croft in third place after a comprehensive 12-1 win at Shaw.

U 10 West

EASTVILLE Boys went clear at the top courtesy of a single Mason Korel goal in the game at Malmesbury.

Lydiard Youth A won their first game of the season, this a 7-1 home success over Stratton Youth.

Croft Juniors A went equal second in the table after a 4-2 home success over Purton. Purton went 2-0 up early in the first half through Josh Fail and Peter Ellis.

Croft pulled one goal back before half time and added three more goals in the second half. Sam Cantlon, Chris Jackson, Michael Birkinshaw and Sam Park scored for Croft.
