A COMMUNITY group in Westbury aiming to improve life for residents in the area has received the backing of West Wiltshire MP Dr Andrew Murrison.
The shadow health minister attended the Westbury Area Action Group's meeting at the Laverton Hall on Thursday to hear the latest on its proposed community plan.
WAAG is working on eight themes ranging from transport to health that will be included in a draft plan in January. The final document is scheduled for April 2005 after consultation.
Dr Murrison said: "WAAG has been working hard to build a vision for Westbury and surrounding communities following consultation with stakeholders in and around the town.
