Pam Thompson, 46, from Eden Vale Road, Westbury, has organised a calendar featuring 40 mums in cheeky football poses.

Mrs Thompson's two sons Nathan, 13 and Lewis, nine, train at the club's Centre of Excellence.

She said: "It was great fun doing it and we hope to raise money for the kids to go on tour.

"The centre always needs more funding and it is a fantastic opportunity for the youngsters to get real top quality coaching.

"I just wanted to find a good idea that would make some money.

"I mentioned it to some of the other mums and it just took off."

Mrs Thompson formed a committee with Anne Wilkes of Swindon and Jacki Barnwell from Marlborough, who both have sons at the centre.

They organised the photo session with a magazine photographer, sold sponsorship and are currently overseeing the final print stages.

The calendar, which costs £5, goes on sale later this month and is available at Swindon home games or by calling (01793) 333706.
