On October 15, Nissan dealers will open the order books for the Murano and the 350Z Roadster.
Just one version of the Murano will be on sale priced at £29,800. The vehicle is so well equipped that options are virtually limited to the choice of colour. And like its coup twin, there will be two versions of the 350Z Roadster available the standard model priced at £26,000 and the GT Pack at £28,500.
The Murano is powered by the same 3.5-litre V6 engine as the 350Z so drivers will enjoy effortless performance, complemented by Nissan's revolutionary XTronic Continuously Variable Transmission.
The use of a six-speed CVT in the Murano will be a unique feature in its segment. CVT technology is traditionally found in vehicles with low power and torque outputs, so by combining it with a high power, high torque engine in the Murano will be interesting.
Meanwhile, the main feature of the 350Z Roadster is its automatic roof which takes less than 20 seconds to raise or lower.
