THE Standards Board for England has recommended a zero tolerance approach to the use of council resources for personal means.
The board, which deals with allegations that members have acted unethically, singled out the use of council-owned computers for personal emails as a particular reason for its proposal.
The county council's Standards Board is now able to deal with 'relatively minor' allegations itself.
