Toby GranvilleTOBY Granville, editor of the Wiltshire Times series left yesterday to join the Oxford Mail.
Granville, 31, who has edited the paper since June 2002, said: "It has been a tough decision because it's been a tremendous two-and-a-half years here at what I believe is the best weekly newspaper in the country.
"I would like to thank our loyal army of readers for boosting our sales, and the great and the good of this county who welcomed me into the community."
Granville, who will be assistant editor on the Oxford daily newspaper, paid tribute to his colleagues at Trowbridge who have won several industry accolades, and said: "I will miss being part of this fantastic team and wish them all the best. But I will be leaving confident that our readers can continue to look forward to an award-winning read every week."
