RESIDENTS in Warminster bid farewell to a popular shop when it closed on Friday. Costcutters convenience store and petrol station in Victoria Road closed despite months of protests.
More than 200 people signed a petition this year to save the shop.
Councillor Les Rose has fought to keep the shop open and says it will be sorely missed.
The shop served about 2,000 homes in the area.
