WESTBURY United's Mr Versatile is hoping the departure of Toby Colbourne will help to establish himself as one of the club's first choice strikers.

Jerad O'Pray has been a regular in the side for the last couple of seasons but because of the wealth of strikers at Meadow Lane has never been able to cement a favoured position.

Already this season he has been played as a left wing back, a winger, a centre midfielder and a striker, but he is hoping Colbourne's switch will enable to him to concentrate on scoring goals.

The 25-year-old has performed impressively upfront alongside Wayne Wheeler in the last two matches and is hoping to carry that form into tomorrow's Wiltshire Senior Cup tie at home to New College.

He said: "It has been a problem all my career. People know I can play in different positions and so I never get the chance to stay in the same role. I think my best position is as a striker and now Toby has left hopefully I will get a chance to build my confidence as a striker.

"Losing him was a blow to the club but I work very well with Wayne Wheeler up front and I am sure we can score the goals.

"I find it hard to play well consistently when I am being moved around all the time and now hopefully I will given the chance to stay upfront for a while."
