A man was injured after the accident on the A36 A MOTORCYCLIST was injured in a two-vehicle crash on the A36 just nine hours after a fatal car crash just 200 metres away.

The 43-year-old motorcyclist, from Poole, Dorset, was driving down the A36 at Limpley Stoke at 9.30am when he was involved in a collision with a Honda Civic.

The biker was taken to the RUH in Bath, with serious arm and leg injuries. He was transferred to Poole Hospital on Tuesday where his condition is described as comfortable.

Honda driver Nicola Bull, 50, from Batheaston and her 10-year-old son Jack escaped injury but her elderly mother Jean Avis suffered minor injuries.

The motorbike was completely destroyed in the crash and the front of the car was damaged.

Police are investigating the incident and anyone with information should contact the police.

TWO motorists were taken to hospital after a crash on the A363 in Bradford on Avon at 9.40pm on Wednesday.

A blue Rover was in collision with a orange Citroen Saxo.

The 27-year-old male Rover driver from Bristol, suffered head injuries and a broken leg and the 18-year-old female Saxo driver, from Melksham, suffered a broken arm.

The road was closed for five hours.
