Having just returned from a holiday in eastern France I thought I would offer an idea for managing the Trowbridge pigeon problem.
In the town of Annecy they have provided council pigeon lofts in the local parks.
This makes it easy for staff to remove any eggs so that the pigeon numbers can be kept within acceptable limits.
I realise that getting the pigeons to use the lofts might be a little difficult in the first place, but I thought this humane method of population control worthy of consideration.
