TWO Swindon Sunday League sides set off on the long road to Anfield this weekend. Green Baize and Greyhound both begin their quest for glory in the FA Sunday Cup, with the final set to take place at the home of Liverpool FC.
Perennial Sunday League champions Greyhound entertain Somerset outfit The Cutters Friday at Wootton Bassett's Rylands Way ground, while the Baize entertain Standens Barn from Nottinghamshire at Devizes Town's Nursteed Road.
A total of 115 clubs representing 27 county FAs and 51 Sunday Leagues take part in the competition, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last season.
Liverpool-based Nicosia are the defending champions after a 3-1 win over UK Flooring on the hallowed turf last season.
